Ron Bernardini is the voice behind the microphone, the face at every Branford sporting event covering or recording statistics. Spanning a 30-year period, including 24 in Branford, Ron is well-known to many organizations. A 1986 graduate of Branford High School, Ron was a member of the varsity basketball team and baseball team from 1983 to 1986 as one of its statisticians and managers. While attending Eastern Connecticut State University, Ron was employed in the Sports Information Office during the 1986-1987 academic year as the lead statistician for the Warriors’ JV baseball team for legendary coach Bill Holowaty. He joined the ECSU Sports Radio team as a breaking news reporter and was play-by-play man for the Warriors Division 3 National Softball Championship in 1987.
