Leaving an indelible mark on Branford High School athletics, Amy Cole O’Brien rose to become one of the top field hockey goalkeepers in Connecticut. Her senior campaign in 1994, Amy was the captain of the team and earned a host of accolades: First Team All-State, All-League, All-Area, three-time New Haven Register Athlete of the Week, and was ranked as the top goalkeeper in Connecticut by both the New Haven Register and the CHSCA, she also captured a 1991 State Championship, Housatonic League titles in 1991 and 1993
